A hosting service in which all my blog's fonts were hosted no longer offer free website options. So all my blog's fonts hosted there are deleted. It's really disappointing as my blog now looks like a mess.
~
I have been concentrating on 2 big & ambitious projects of mine... It's such a long time since I wrote a new post in the blog. It's unfortunate yet inevitable.
~
I love this blog and all of its memories but it seems that now is the time to move on. It's a pause not an end. I'll be back writing my favorite thoughts!

Góc suy ngẫm:

Em là sinh viên năm 4 ở Hà Nội, đây là lần đầu tiên trong đời em viết phản hồi mặc dù đọc đã rất nhiều báo. Thật ra ngay từ đầu em chả biết Ông CHHV la ai nhưng khi xem chương trình đài VTV1 phát nói về Ông CHHV phạm tội 88 gì đó, em chỉ chú ý đến chi tiết là ông ấy KIỆN thủ tướng Nguyễn T Dũng, đều này làm em giật cả mình.

Sau đó em mới vào Google tìm những tư liệu về Ông ấy. Đọc xong em mất ăn mất ngủ mấy hôm nay vì em hoàn toàn sụp đổ về lý tưởng của chế độ CS mà lâu nay mình được dạy ở mái trường XHCN.

Việc Ông CHHV có đúng hay sai thì hầu hết quý vị đã nói hết rồi, em chỉ muốn nói thế này:

- Nếu có phát động 1 lá đơn để kêu gọi nhà nước này thả vô điều kiện Ông CHHV ra thì em và rất đông bạn bè em ở Ký túc xá sẽ ký tên ủng hộ.

- Nếu kêu gọi một cuôc biểu tình chống đối khi phiên tòa xảy ra thì em cũng sẽ đi tiên phong cho dù có bị bắn chết đi nữa chứ đừng nói là bắt bỏ tù với cái điều luật 88 ngớ ngẩn đó của nhà nước.

If I have to describe "3 Idiots" in the briefest way, I would say "truly incredible"!

It's fun

3 Idiots is a smart comedy. Jokes are well-written and meticulously associated with one another. No one could stop laughing at it!

It's educative

"3 Idiots" conveys its core message clearly throughout the entire story. It's generally said:

Please do:

Understand the true meaning of learning!
Follow your heart!

Please don't:

Chase your parents' dreams
Live others' lives!

"3 Idiots" really gives us an outstanding insight into the nature of friendship, dreams as well as love. It comforts us with the notion that one should follow his/her heart to fulfill his/her dreams even if it's not as much prestige and probably wealthy as getting into an engineering or a medical school because "excellence" will result in "success"!

It's artistic

The switch between color and black-and-white mode is, albeit short, a highlight of the story.

It's also unbelievable how "3 Idiots" can be successfully driven by three male leads with relatively low participation of only one main actress.

In short, it's a rare film that can combine entertainment, art and education into an integrated one as well as make viewers smile and "cry" at the same time. Albeit a nearly 3-hour long film, it's worth every second you spend. Don't wait, go and watch it now!

I'm using (& learning) CakePHP right now for my project. In the learning process, I've encountered plenty of issues, 'wasting' plenty of time to resolve them. You know, Google sometimes requires our time and patience to solve a 'stupid' problem. So for the sake of your convenience, I'll update all the tips and tricks on troubles I've run into. Hope it helps.
(I only abridge the troubles and their solutions, yet include the links for your reference whenever necessary)

passing data (from a controller) to elements: requestAction() + cache E.g. $comments = $this->requestAction('users/latest'); $this->element('comments', $comment);
tricks: using compact() to pass data from a controller to a view more efficiently: $this->set(compact($var1, $var2, ...));
Using MultivalidatableBehavior for multiple sets of validation rules for each model. It's necessary when you have different forms or data that are all required to be validated ("differently") in a model. E.g. Your User controller has login and register action, which should be validated by 2 (different) sets of validation rules. Recall that any fields of a particular validation rule in which 'required' is set to 'true' must be included in a form. Otherwise, this form won't be validated using this set of rule.
Using PersistentValidation component to keep your validation data after redirect, eg. you have multiple forms in a view, which relates to different actions (and even in different controllers). Now you want to display validation errors in this view instead of being redirected into the views of these actions.

Though there may be some 'good' excuses for other failed subjects (lack of motivation & discouraging, albeit not bad, results), no excuses for the awful results of my competitive ones. Disappointed? I'm gutted!

64 below the C (64,5); 73 below the D (74,5). Yep, it's unlucky and somewhat mysterious like 4 duplicates get significantly different marks... Alright, "Life is not (always) fair"! But it doesn't necessarily mean it's utterly unfair or something like that. Lessons will and must be learned!

It's never too late; anyway it's rather later than never. I will leave University with my head held high, definitely!

Once again, HAPPY 2011! How is it going so far this year? Hoping everything is alright. Please keep it up! The year is just starting.

It seems that I've been missing in action for quite a while. Yes, I blame it on the thrilling just-passed-by Tet (Lunar New Year). LOL. It was so fascinating, funny, enjoyable and also crazy that it makes me sick right away I arrive in SGP. OMG! I'm likewise losing my proud 6 pack abs (not because of eating but drinking too much!? - 'cause I lost weight also! Hic). After the longest holiday, I still need few days to bounce back :(

I actually didn't set many resolutions this year, which won't put me under pressure but is adequate to keep me on the right track. 2 out of its 3, I've revealed to some of friends (when I was drunk? LOL), and I believe I can accomplish them; for the last and important one - may I make it as my great surprise in the end?

- In life, it's hard to say anything is absolutely right or wrong. It just depends. In case, you know somebody would unfortunately go wrong. Let it be. We would hardly teach anyone anything. Let they learn by themselves though we know sometimes it's very dangerous!

- There is one thing I've always confused though I know it exactly: The poor always "dominate" the rich... To certain extent, we simply can't teach or help somebody better yep perhaps because of the so-called "destiny". We're destined to do our own missions: some were born to be rich; some, poor, some, to struggle. That's life!

- Time's flying. And life's gone too fast to recognize what have happened...

- Many people are too "BUSY" to care about themselves or their beloved ones. They even can't realize who are important for them. At times, (they think/consider) all are pretty awesome. At times, all are terrible....

How much are you supposed to like what you do? Unless you know that, you don't know when to stop searching. And if, like most people, you underestimate it, you'll tend to stop searching too early. You'll end up doing something chosen for you by your parents, or the desire to make money, or prestige—or sheer inertia.

Here's an upper bound: Do what you love doesn't mean, do what you would like to do most this second. Even Einstein probably had moments when he wanted to have a cup of coffee, but told himself he ought to finish what he was working on first.

It used to perplex me when I read about people who liked what they did so much that there was nothing they'd rather do. There didn't seem to be any sort of work I liked that much. If I had a choice of (a) spending the next hour working on something or (b) be teleported to Rome and spend the next hour wandering about, was there any sort of work I'd prefer? Honestly, no.

But the fact is, almost anyone would rather, at any given moment, float about in the Carribbean, or have sex, or eat some delicious food, than work on hard problems. The rule about doing what you love assumes a certain length of time. It doesn't mean, do what will make you happiest this second, but what will make you happiest over some longer period, like a week or a month.
Unproductive pleasures pall eventually. After a while you get tired of lying on the beach. If you want to stay happy, you have to do something.

However, this number keeps dropping, while the Linux market is growing rapidly. I believe this is the new trend of PC users. Truth be told, Windows 7 doesn’t boot or shut down faster than its sibling - Windows Vista and of course is far outperformed by Linux distros. If you turn on your desktop or laptop twice a day, you will likely have 10 extra minutes each week and much more since Windows slows down significantly over time.

If in Mac OS, you only need to acquire (download), un-package then drag and drop to install a programme, in Linux, it’s even easier. The job of hunting the Internet for an “exe” file then process lots of pop-up windows seems now very complicated and time consuming.

Ý nêu trên khá xa lạ với những gì chúng ta học được khi còn nhỏ. Khi tôi còn là một đứa trẻ, công việc và niềm vui dường như là những điều trái ngược nhau ngay từ định nghĩa. Cuộc sống lúc đó gồm hai cảnh: một phần thời gian bạn bị người lớn bắt làm việc này hay việc khác, và những việc bạn làm đó được gọi là công việc; phần thời gian còn lại bạn có thể làm những gì bạn muốn, và khoảng thời gian đó gọi là chơi. Thỉnh thoảng, những việc người lớn bảo bạn làm cũng vui, và ngược lại, thỉnh thoảng những trò bạn chơi cũng không thú vị lắm – ví dụ như khi bạn ngã và bị đau. what the hell is Facebook playing around?

At the first glances, the new Facebook's profile looks cleaner, more visual and a bit more impressive. However, I am certainly not a fan of this brand new profile due to these following small yet frustrating defects:

Below my name at the top of the profile comes a Wikipedia-like mini-biography of my life:

Studied at Hue College of Sciences. Lives in Singapore sity. In a Relationship. Speaking English, Vietnamese. From Hue, Vietnam. Born on Feb 14, 19**, for example. Why we have to show off more and more personal information in FB while we don't want?

Deploying the SAME SMALLER FONT SIZE on the profile pages. I find myself squinting to read the updates whilst the friends' name are bold, far clearer and occupying great spaces in the left hand side.
Mixing up everything around in both sides. I again find myself hunting when doing sth.
I myself find it irritating when FaceBook sports an “infinite scroll” feature of all the photos I'm tagged in. No doubt, FB pages seem nicer with an emphasis on images. However, my "Photos" page now seem to become to Google images searching page with keywords: "Hoang Huu Thinh" LOL
The layout and navigation are no longer user-friendly since it has to share too much spaces for images. To post a short message in my friend wall, I have to click many buttons. Wait, see, the ever ambiguous POKE function is "promoted" with great prominence!! (in the upper-right of the profile next to the "message" button)

One of the nice point is you can show off (and marketing) your girl/boy friend, family, relatives and dear friends with their awesome avatars.

BAD NEWS: There will be NO DOWNGRADE once you've upgraded your profile. What's more, the transition will occur sometime "early next year" no matter you like it or not(!!) ... unless there is massive user backlash against the new Profile!! So if any of you guys gonna create a page against the new profile, I'm definitely the first one LIKE IT! (and many will do too)

Since Facebook's provided us a free and terrific service, I definitely not gonna complain anything more than these feelings and suggestions. Looking forward to see better news from U...

nhin nhan ve VietNam Idol 2010

Việt Nam Idol ( VNI ) bây giờ chẳng còn gì xa lạ với tất cả các bạn trẻ hiện nay . Nó cũng đang dần dần trở thành một trào lưu , một xu thế mới của giới trẻ trên con đường khẳng định mình , thể hiện năng khiếu của chính mình . Phải công nhận một điều : giới trẻ của chúng ta ngày nay ngày càng mạnh dạn hơn , tự tin hơn , bằng chứng là thành phần tham gia các cuộc thi lớn như : VNI , Sao mai điểm hẹn , các cuộc thi trên truyền hình , … ngày càng được trẻ hóa , lứa tuổi tham gia cũng ít hơn , vd : Văn Mai Hương ( thí sinh 16 tuổi của VNI 2010 ) , người mẫu tuổi teen Lê Hoàng Bảo Trân ( 12 tuổi ) , …

Điều đó khẳng định được rằng , xã hội Việt Nam ngày càng có những bước trở mình lớn , đó chính là ảnh hưởng của xu thế hội nhập . Ta không nhìn nhận rằng đó là tốt hay xấu , nên hay không nên . Vì đó là một hệ quả tất yếu của xu thế xã hội bây giờ .

Nhưng để hiểu một chút về “ cái xu thế ” này , chúng ta hãy cùng nhìn nhận điều sau .

Đó là từ cuộc thi VNI 2010 , tại sao tôi lại lấy một ví dụ minh họa là VNI 2010 cho những gì sắp đề cập ?

Có 3 nguyên nhân chính sau :

+ Cuộc thi này đang được giới trẻ đón nhận rất nồng nhiệt .

+ Cuộc thi này là sân chơi của giới trẻ , với lứa tuổi tham gia ngày càng được trẻ hóa .

+ Và chính giới trẻ là lực lượng chính mà cuộc thi này muốn nhắm tới .

Ta nhìn nhận một cách khách quan rằng : đây là một cuộc thi , bất kỳ công dân Việt Nam cũng được tham gia , ai cũng phải trải qua được các vòng sơ tuyển , rồi qua nhiều vòng khác mới tới vòng chung kết .

Tuy dài dòng nhưng ta có thể thấy , cuộc thi này đơn giản có 2 giai đoạn :

· Giai đoạn 1 : Ban giám khảo chọn thí sinh .

· Giai đoạn 2 : Khán giả bình chọn thí sinh.

Thực tế là bất kỳ một cuộc thi Idol nào cũng thế , cũng đơn giản là 2 giai đoạn trên . Thì ta có thể nhìn thấy được một điều rằng : xã hội ta bây giờ cần phải có 2 xu thế tất yếu nếu muốn trở thành một thần tượng , hay là một “ ngôi sao ” trong giới Showbiz đó là năng khiếu và quan hệ công chúng .

Tại sao ở đây tôi dùng từ năng khiếu mà lại không dùng từ chuyên môn .

· Tôi không đánh đồng tất cả các thí sinh Idol đều không được đào tạo một cách bài bản qua trường lớp . Nhưng thực tế rằng : trong các cuộc thi Idol từ trước đến nay chưa có một thí sinh nào lọt đến vòng cuối cùng là người đã và đang được đào tạo bài bản qua trường lớp . Thế thì ta tự đặt ra câu hỏi : họ hát không hay sao ? – họ được đào tạo bài bản về thanh nhạc cơ mà ! Họ không có năng khiếu về ca hát ? – nếu không có thì làm sao họ thi vào được trường nhạc !

· Vậy có phải chăng , chuyên môn dần bị thay thế bởi năng khiếu hay nói cách khác trình độ chuyên môn không được giới nghệ thuật đánh giá cao bằng năng khiếu .?

· Ta thử so sánh : một ca sĩ được đào tạo qua trường lớp và một người có năng khiếu bẩm sinh là ca hát . Người được đào tạo họ hát ra sao ? – nếu bạn được đào tạo , thì chắc chắn một điều rằng , bạn chỉ làm đúng như những gì mình đã được đào tạo khi mới vào nghề ( tại sao ư ? Đơn giản khi bạn mới ra trường , tâm lý chung là muốn xác định một hệ số an toàn cao trên con đường sự nghiệp của mình – do đó , bạn chỉ biết thực hành lại những gì mình đã được học – không hơn không kém ) nhưng sau một quá trình hình thành sự nghiệp , bạn mới dần dần tìm ra đúng bản ngã hay nói cách khác , một khi bạn đã có “ chỗ đứng ” bạn mới bắt đầu đi tìm lối đi riêng – lối đi của phong cách cá nhân – cái tôi của bạn khi đó được đặt lên tầm cao hơn – và cái tôi khi đó ngày càng có những sự đòi hỏi cao hơn => nó dẫn đến một điểm nhấn : đã là người được đào tạo , sự nghiệp của họ là một sự nghiệp dài hạn tức là sự khởi đầu của họ là một sự khởi đầu chậm , và phải qua một thời gian thử thách dài họ mới dần có “ chỗ đứng ” ( hay nói cách khác là sự thành công của họ đến rất chậm ) và do đó tất nhiên họ được gọi là một Nghệ sĩ .

· Thế còn ca sĩ không qua đào tạo thì sao ? Họ đến với con đường âm nhạc bằng đúng chất giọng của mình , bằng năng khiếu sẵn có . Điều đó hiển nhiên là một điều tốt ! Tại vì họ có thực tài , họ đến với âm nhạc bằng chính những gì mà họ có , bằng đúng năng lực của bản thân . Nhưng điều gì làm họ khó hay nói đúng hơn là không thể trở thành một nghệ sĩ đúng với đầy đủ ý nghĩa của từ này mang lại . Giới trẻ bây giờ có nhiều bạn có năng khiếu về giọng hát và nhiều trong số đó là họ đi theo con đường ca hát từ rất sớm . Nhưng điều làm cho họ hoàn toàn khác với những ca sĩ được đào tạo trường lớp chính là niềm đam mê chân chính , họ không có bài bản , tất cả những gì họ có chỉ là năng khiếu . Và sự thật , những bạn trẻ nào đến với âm nhạc bằng kiểu đó thì chỉ có một con đường duy nhất đó là “ Quy trình Showbiz ” ( tôi sẽ giải thích ở phần dưới ) . Họ đến với âm nhạc bằng con đường “ hình thức ” ( tức là họ coi âm nhạc chỉ là một công cụ giúp họ có sự nghiệp một cách nhanh chóng ) . Và khi đã là “ hình thức ” thì chẳng có gì là bền lâu , là vững chắc . Họ chạy theo thị hiếu của khán giả , âm nhạc của họ đúng chất là âm nhạc thị trường ( tức là thứ âm nhạc ra đời chỉ nhằm phục vụ cho một bộ phận khán giả trong một điểm nút thời gian nào đó ) . => sự thành công đến với họ rất nhanh , chỉ vài tháng , cùng lắm là một năm . Do đó , giới trẻ bây giờ chẳng ai mặn mà với vai trò nghệ sĩ thực thụ , họ sống năng động , do đó cái gì đến với họ cũng phải một cách nhanh chóng và đáp ứng được những nhu cầu của họ => sự thành công một cách nhanh chóng là giải pháp tối ưu ( dẫu biết thành công đó có thể là nhất thời ) .

· Qua đó , ta đã nhìn nhận được sự khác biệt hoàn toàn giữa một nghệ sĩ đi theo con đường ca hát và một ca sĩ là như thế nào . Và qua đó cũng đã hiểu được tại sao tôi dùng từ năng khiếu thay cho từ chuyên môn trong lĩnh vực này .

· Tôi xin định nghĩa tiếp cái gọi là “ quy trình Showbiz ” nó là gì ? Nó chính là tập hợp một quy trình khá phức tạp , và đơn giản ta chỉ cần hiểu nó là công nghệ “ lăng – xê ” . Nó như là một thủ tục pháp lý của sự nổi tiếng . Bạn muốn nổi tiếng ? Phải qua tay các “ bầu sô ” và khi đó bạn được đánh bóng tên tuổi , và tên tuổi của bạn ít nhiều đều được tạo lên nhờ những thứ mà xã hội gọi là Scandal . Và như ta đã biết , thì hầu như các vụ Scandal đó đều không mấy tốt đẹp .

Và từ thứ hai tôi muốn đề cập đó là quan hệ công chúng – và đây cũng chính là phương châm lớn nhất của giới ca sĩ trẻ bây giờ - bạn nổi tiếng vì ai ? – đâu còn ai khác ngoài khán giả ( hay còn gọi là Fans ) . Tất nhiên bất cứ ca sĩ nào cũng phải đặt ra một câu hỏi là mình hát cho ai nghe ? – tất nhiên những gì mình hát ra phải có nhiều người thích – thì khi đó mới gọi là thành công . Nhưng ca sĩ trẻ bây giờ họ đã tận dụng một cách thái quá , do đó ta thấy rằng : ca sĩ trẻ bây giờ hát càng ngày càng kém – tại sao ư ? Họ đâu có thời gian để đầu tư cho giọng hát của mình . Họ chạy theo thời thế - ca sĩ thời nay muốn có nhiều Fans thì phải có nhan sắc , ngoại hình – và tiếp đến họ chỉ cần các bài hát có vũ đạo bốc lửa – thì thử nghĩ xem : thời gian đâu cho việc đầu tư trình độ chuyên môn , chưa kể ít nhiều trong số đó chưa qua đào tạo trường lớp .

Do đó , qua những cuộc thi gần đây , và nhất là cuộc thi Idol ta thấy rõ được tầm quan trọng không thể thiếu của từ : quan hệ công chúng . Tuy rằng các thí sinh đã phải trải qua vòng loại sơ tuyển do ban giám khảo chọn lựa , tuy nhiên cái đó chỉ quyết định một điều rằng : bạn biết hát – chỉ đơn giản là bạn biết hát và không hơn không kém .

Nhưng những gì mà cuộc thi VNI 2010 đã thể hiện – rằng có một thí sinh được ban giám khảo đánh giá rất cao từ đầu cho đến các đêm Gala sau này – nhưng đến đêm Gala thứ 6 thì bỗng nhiên thí sinh đó bị loại vì số phiếu bầu chọn ít – thế thì vấn đề ta nhận thấy được là : đây là một sân chơi và khi càng đi sâu , tầm ảnh hưởng của “ thị trường ” là rất lớn . Bạn hát hay – bạn được giới chuyên môn đánh giá cao – nhưng bạn vẫn thất bại vì sao ? – vì công chúng không thích bạn – và vấn đề là : công chúng không thích bạn ở điểm nào ? – vì đơn giản bạn không nổi bật trong con mắt công chúng – công chúng không cần quan tâm bạn hát hay dở ra sao , hát nhiều ít thế nào – đơn giản họ chỉ nhìn bạn mà thôi – và lý do bạn hiểu là bạn không được công chúng mến mộ , bạn chằng có vẻ ngoại hình nào hấp dẫn họ cả !

Tôi xin giám khẳng định dù ít hay nhiều thì khán giả cũng biết một sự thật khách quan rằng : thí sinh Uyên Linh – bị loại trong đêm Gala thứ 6 đó ( nếu không có sự cố đó xảy ra ) có khả năng ca hát hơn các thí sinh còn lại . Nhưng một sự thật là : cho dù may mắn được đi tiếp ở đêm đó – nhưng tôi vẫn không hy vọng gì cho cơ hội được đi tiếp của thí sinh đó ở đêm Gala tiếp theo – tất nhiên , nguyên nhân chính là những gì tôi đã nói ở trên .

Nhưng từ khi “ số phận ” của các thí sinh nằm trong tay khán giả - một vấn đề nữa đặt ra lại chính từ phía khán giả - họ có thực sự khách quan ? Họ có thực sự cảm thụ được âm nhạc ? Họ có thực sự là những người đam mê âm nhạc ?

Tôi xin để câu hỏi đó cho chính những vị khán giả đó – và điều cần nói là một khi một thần tượng của khán giả đó bị loại – thì họ lại hành động như những đứa con nít , họ coi đó là do sự không công bằng của Ban tổ chức ( BTC ) , họ đòi lại số tiền họ đã nhắn tin bầu chọn cho thí sinh đó ( Trích trong bài phỏng vấn nhà báo Diễm Quỳnh – đại diện ban tổ chức , trên trang báo điện tử docbao.vn ) . Tôi và có thể các bạn đều đồng tình rằng , số khán giả đó thật sự là họ có một kiểu tư duy của một đứa trẻ mới lớn – nông nỗi , bốc đồng , không chín chắn .

Và còn nhiều điều hơn thế , nhiều hệ quả hơn thế , nhiều cái nhìn hơn thế , nhiều đánh giá hơn thế về tất cả các cuộc thi âm nhạc hiện nay , và đặc biệt là về sân chơi VNI 2010 .

Nói đến bất cứ cuộc thi nào thì một thành phần không thể thiếu chính là ban giám khảo – người đảm bảo tính chuyên môn cho một cuộc thi . Nhưng khi ta nhìn lại cuộc thi VNI 2010 , ta nhận thấy ban giám khảo vẫn chưa đưa ra được những lời nhận xét có thể làm thay đổi “ cục diện ” của một thí sinh . Và hầu như càng vào trong , thì tiếng nói của ban giám khảo càng mất “ trọng lượng ” . Ban đầu giám khảo sẽ tuyển chọn hàng ngàn thí sinh để vào các vòng loại trong . Và có thể nói “ quyền lực ” của ban giám khảo lúc đó rất lớn . Và khi ta xem VNI 2010 ta đều luôn nghe rất nhiều câu nhận xét của ban giám khảo , chê có , khen có , nhưng phần nhiều những câu nhận xét đó vẫn chưa mang tính khái quát cao . Những câu nhận xét vẫn mang nét chung chung , như những câu nhận xét của nhạc sĩ Quốc Trung : “ em chưa có thẩm mỹ âm nhạc , em có một thẩm mỹ âm nhạc tốt , … ” , hay như câu nhận xét của ca sĩ Siu Black : “ em cần phải “phiêu” hơn nữa , em chưa thực sự “phiêu” , … ” . Tôi không nói đến những lời nhận xét đó nó có mang tính chuyên môn cao hay không , có ý nghĩa hay không , nhưng ta cần nhìn một cách khác quan rằng : những thí sinh này khi đã vào đến các vòng cuối , thì đa số là những thí sinh chưa qua , hay đang được đào tạo bài bản , họ đến với sân chơi VNI 2010 như là một cuộc chơi , một sự khẳng định mình , và nếu may mắn họ sẽ giành chiến thắng . Rõ ràng , ta vẫn không nhận thấy được như những gì mà ca sĩ Siu nhận xét , các thí sinh chưa có cái “phiêu” , chưa có “máu” khi thể hiện các bài hát , vẫn chút gì đó non nớt , vẫn chút gì đó gượng ép , vẫn chưa tự nhiên , vẫn chưa thể hiện hết mình , … . Và phần đông khán giả , ít nhiều vẫn có thắc mắc về vai trò của khán giả ở các vòng trong , họ cho rằng tuy khán giả không có quyền chọn thí sinh nào được đi tiếp , nhưng họ vẫn có quyền được giữ thí sinh nào sau khi bị loại vẫn được tiếp tục cuộc thi . Điều này sẽ có 2 nguyên nhân :

1) Một là như ca sĩ Siu nói , các bạn đó vẫn chưa thể hiện được những gì có thể thuyết phục được giám khảo đưa ra quyết định giữ thí sinh đó lại , mọi người vẫn hy vọng ở bài hát chia tay , nhưng xin nhắc lại rằng bài hát chia tay chỉ là một hình thức , ta phải nhìn nhận cả một quá trình thi thố của thí sinh đó , giám khảo không chỉ đơn giản nghe bài hát chia tay là đưa ra quyết định mà họ cần quá trình của đánh giá về thí sinh đó , do đó , ta thấy rõ ràng : chưa có thí sinh nào thực sự đem lại ấn tượng cho ban giám khảo .

2) Đó là do sự ảnh hưởng của BTC , BTC tuy từ đầu đến cuối chẳng có vai trò gì trong quá trình thi , nhưng hiển nhiên , việc giữ lại một thí sinh nào đó là một việc rất khó đối với BTC , tại sao ? Đơn giản , mọi việc , từ khâu tổ chức , khâu chuẩn bị đều được BTC đưa ra từ trước , tức là cứ sau một đêm loại một thí sinh , để khi đó đến đêm song ca , phải đủ 2 cặp để thi . Do đó , ta không thể nói là BTC có khác quan hay không ! Nhưng cũng phải hiểu rằng , thà hy sinh một thí sinh , chứ họ không thể làm mất đi sự hoàn hảo của một chương trình được .

Do đó , vấn đề về ban giám khảo , BTC là một vấn đề nhạy cảm , và khi đó , chỉ những người trong cuộc mới hiểu rõ được chuyện gì đang xảy ra vì đơn giản họ là “ diễn viên chính ” trong toàn bộ “ kịch bản ” họ đưa ra .

Và đến đây tôi cũng để giành lại cho mọi người tự nhìn nhận , tự đánh giá , tự suy xét để đánh giá được khách quan hơn , đa chiều hơn ,và chính xác hơn .

Nhìn lại từ cuộc thi VNI 2010 ta có thể chốt lại những điểm sau :

1) Là khả năng cảm thụ âm nhạc của khán giả Việt Nam ( mà thành phần chính là giới trẻ ) còn nhiều hạn chế .

2) Thí sinh vẫn chưa thoát khỏi “ sợi xích của thị trường ”

3) Trình độ chuyên môn của thí sinh chưa cao – thực tế nằm ở những lời nhận xét của các thành viên giám khảo , những người hỗ trợ các thí sinh trước các đêm thi .

4) Và trích dẫn trong câu nói của thí sinh Trung Quân : “ … em muốn thay đổi để gần gũi với khán giả hơn … ” nói lên tâm lý chung của toàn bộ thí sinh của các cuộc thi VNI từ trước đến nay .

5) Vẫn chưa thực sự chuyên nghiệp trong tất cả các khâu chuẩn bị , sắp xếp , tổ chức xứng đáng với một sân chơi lớn .

Remarks: WikiLeaks' leaked documents have been causing a lot of surprises and interests by revelations that.... there is "an intriguing alliance between Berlusconi and Putin"; German Chancellor Angel Merkel is one who "avoids risks and is rarely creative"; members of the British royal family had "inappropriate behaviour". Hold on, there are more interesting ones:

ITALIAN Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is "feckless, vain and ineffective as a modern European leader", whose "frequent late nights and penchant for partying hard mean he does not get sufficient rest".
RUSSIAN President Dmitry Medvedev is "pale and hesitant" and plays Robin to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's Batman.
NORTH Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il is a "flabby old chap" who suffers from "physical and psychological trauma".
LIBYAN leader Muammar Gadaffi is "strange" and "accompanied by (a) voluptuous blonde Ukranian 'nurse'".

Before moving on, it's important to know that: Although many are classified as "confidential"; some "secrets", a large number of cables are, in reality, incomplete, unclassified, and untrustworthy; plenty of them are first impressions and gossips. Why? Some legitimate reasons are coming here and there:

Diplomats are, albeit clever and better resources than journalists, just human. They do make mistakes! (And it's somewhat acceptable). Many cables are faithfully recorded. As a result, they are sometimes left with egg all over their faces when reporting some ill-informed gossips.
Diplomats are duty-bound to pass on everything they hear and observe. Sometimes they let analysis and assessment come later. Sometimes reports are thoroughly out of business as NYT pointed out.
Diplomats, in some countries, are not particularly high up the pecking order nor in the loop quite as much as they may hope they are.

Therefore, please bear in mind that all of these documents are just the WORK OF DIPLOMATS (what they have to do)! In fact, "We were never going to learn very much of substance from diplomatic cables, as diplomats are merely ornaments, the eunuchs in the room. If you want secrets that show something about power, you want to hear from the people who arrange the hit squads - not the people who arrange the cocktail parties." (Andrew Orlowski @ theregister)

This material, in brief, turns out to be utterly trivial and inconsequential. On one hand, it leaves nothing for everyone to learn, apart from entertainment. On the other hand, it strongly affects the entire world diplomatic relations by revealing not only the first glimpse of U.S against others, but also among others, of course, in the partisan view of US - well, US diplomats (!!), to be precise!

In conjunction with threatening disclosures in Pak-Saudi (Pakistan and Saudi Arabia), China - US, Turkey - US relations (and many more), it's striking that leaked dispatches also show Beijing is frustrated with military actions of "spoiled child" and increasingly favors reunified Korea.
These massive leak of secret US cables are so appalling that they have been dubbed humorously yet seriously as the 9/11 of world diplomacy! Perhaps WikiLeaks's gone too far away from their main aim - as listed in their website (wikileaks.org): give people around the world an unprecedented insight into the US Government's foreign activities. Owing to lots of "additional" "off-topics" and trivia, we have reasons to suspect their purposes...

Spoiled children are mother's faults

No sooner had the shocking disclosures, allegedly stolen by an American Army intelligence analyst, released than many country representatives and Presidents expressed their frustrations and irritations against these documents. Sympathized replies, if any, are just again diplomatic! In return, embarrassed American have given their heartfelt apologies all around the world. A great deal of acute pains - doubts, misunderstanding as well as embarrassments have been caused by the so-called 'WikiLeaks' organization, led by the guy named Assange.

This guy has smartly utilized the so-called "equality and freedom" to fight back against its most advocate (US). He's absolutely brilliant. In fact, the name "Julian Assange" is being hailed worldwide by different kinds of people, including Ecuador Deputy Foreign Minister (who offered him home) and those who feel interested in the trivia he's provided. But are what he's done really great as its first glances?

Unanticipated Effects

"The longer that Wikileaks continues to pump out trivia, and governments issue their theatrical, orchestrated cries that the sky is falling, the longer we're left in the dark." Andrew Orlowski, yet again, expresses his worry about the leaked documents.

In deed, though we haven't seen any direct loss or damage of lives due to the exposure of WikiLeaks documents so far, effects and results of the issue are out of control and remains unknowable. There is in all likelihood a lag between the sensational revelations and jeopardy in reality.

One thing the experts appear to agree on is that "the leaks will make it more difficult for US diplomats and human intelligence operatives to do their jobs. Although that does not present an immediate threat to American lives, strained international relations may create a more dangerous world" (Katie Connolly @ BBC) "They embarrass governments with which the US co-operates. At the very least, they will make governments like Pakistan and Yemen and others, which are collaborating with the US in the battle against terrorism, more reluctant to co-operate. It's harming some of the vital activities that the US government, the UK government or others engage in, which are protecting us against terrorism." Max Boot, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, added.

Returning to China - North Korea story, the public still remain skeptical about the "spoiled child" or "reunified Korean" tale that the documents revealed. Despite of this, the fact that such headlines as "China's ready to abandon North Korea" or “Guesses on North Korea” appear all over newspapers is really terrifying any pacifists around the world: That the North is on the verge of collapsing. That his one and only one friend is planning on what to do hereafter. That his best friend is ready to see him dead ...

We're still left in confusion whether Assange is saving the world, or destroying international relations!? At the moment, the later seems more obvious!!

We want more than just trivia!

One of the most hitherto damaging and shocking documents is a directive issued by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to diplomats ordering them to spy on top UN officials including Ban Ki-Moon. Because of this - which Assange claims to be in violation of the international covenants to which the U.S. has signed up, WikiLeaks founder has called for Clinton to quit! A harsh lesson will be learned by US that they must be much, much better in their mechanisms for democratic accountability as well as foreign policy... However, it would have been much more impressive if Assange revealed more concerned information as Cryptome operator John Young has suggested, including:

War plans of all nations, for and against one another
Files of billionaire political meddlers
Files of the major world banks and their attorneys ...

I tend to agree with Daniel Ellsberg, the former military analyst who in 1971 released the Pentagon Papers which detailed government lies and cover-ups in the Vietnam War, that to a certain extent, "lives are at stake as a result of the silences and lies which a lot of these leaks reveal". But as mentioned, not only trivia the recent released information is, but it also looks as if it's already been heavily filleted. Notably, revelations about Syria and especially Israel are conspicuous by their absences.

Verdict

There is no doubt about WikiLeaks's great purposes since its launch in 2006. However, the aim of this biggest diplomatic strike ever is confused. Who and what are causes? What are their real purposes? Who benefits? Is there really a mastermind behind Assange? If so, Who are they?...
Anyway, it's not a great way to begin a story unless there is an obvious purpose behind.

Nowadays, people're highly obsessed with money and ... $. With How to make money; How to earn more, work less; Make money fast, get rich quick and many, many more, MONEY has become a buzzword. Because of its high profile, money is also at the heart of many debates over the notions of wealth. "Will money make us rich?" is one of those...

Money is inherent in everyone's life. We all want it. But will money really make us rich? Contrary to popular belief, the answer is surprisingly NO. This article will go further and give you a full answer of this paradoxical question.

Although it's a bit long, I hope you enjoy and benefit from it.

Rich!? Say it Right!

According to Oxford Advanced Learner Dictionary (OALD), 'Rich' means having a lot of money. The rich likewise are those have a lot of money and property. Truth be told, many so-called "rich people", who earn and possess plenty of money, can't stop working. Some even have to work harder. In contrast, many people really enjoy their lives without working nor worrying about money. In other words, they're financially independent! Are these two kinds of people different? (Give it a thought!)

Up till now, rich is always accompanied by money (and money alone). Is it the time for us to give "rich" a better definition, a better name which sounds right for most of us? ... - Financial Freedom!? Why not? (Who can claim those with financial freedom don't possess lots of money?)

Keeping it in mind, Money won't make you rich. But the lack of money makes you poor!

Money is essentially important!

-Many people are dying of starvation in Africa because they can't afford food and medical services.

-Many kids are growing up with low self-esteem because they don't have what they deserve.

-Many marriages are broken because of stresses and arguments over the lack of money.

and many, many more examples...

Money is undoubtedly important. That's why people work for money!!

But Money won't make you rich

Many people strongly believe that money will make them rich. This is why they all go to school, get good grades to go on to University, get good grades to become doctors, lawyers and other professionals that will earn them a lot of money!! (Have you well followed this path?) They think the more money they earn, the richer they become. Unfortunately, it never really work out that way. And this is where the flaws in their thinking come from. To illustrate, let's me give you a simple example:

Let's say, you income was ($)A. You also work part-time at night. So you double your income (2A). What's more, you're fortunately promoted for your hard working. Altogether your income is 3A.

With money, girls're sure around U...

In such wonderful situation, would you think you will be become richer? - Probably. But in most of cases, you won't. Why? Your income increases, but so do your taxes and expenses. You're likely to spend more money for your joys, your pastime and much, much more. Still remember, the basic necessities' costs (for food and clothing, etc.) would remain unchanged. Hence, your cash flow would be:

Income (increases) - Expenses (luxuries (likely increase) + necessities (unchanged)) - also increase)

Finally, you may have nice cars, big houses, impressive luxuries and lots of beautiful girls (boys) around or even be a bit richer for your very hard endeavors. But you know what? You have to work harder and harder because your expenses keep increasing. In all likelihood you will continue struggling in the rest of your life for money. Sure, money makes you comfortable but won't make you rich!!

Money won't make you rich. The ability to mange and keep money helps you rich instead!

Most of people fail to realize that in life, it's not how much money you make, it's how much money you (can) manage and keep that matters! (Robert Kiyosaki) *. Yep, money does make you "financially rich" but only in the short term (or even a moment)!! And such a big amount of money doesn't guarantee you wealthy for your whole life. We have all heard stories of lottery winners who are poor, then suddenly rich, then poor again. They win millions and are soon back to where they started. Or stories of some World Cup champions - notably, Nobbly Stiles, Alan Ball sold their medals to "secure the future of my family". Lamentably yet unsurprisingly, these guys have big problems in their cash flow management (what I mentioned a bit above) before they championed or won the lottery. And those problems were obviously never fixed. Hence, no matter A, 2A or 100A; one dollar, 1k dollars or millions of dollars you have, if you don't know how to manage it, you'll lose it sooner or later... I love Harv Eker's example given in his famous book (Secret of Millionaire Mind): "Saying "I'll start managing my money as soon as I get caught up" is like an overweight person saying "I'll start excersing and dieting as soon as I lose 20 pounds." In essence, you will most likely never get rich unless you know how to manage your money!

Money won't make you rich. Your "stupid emotion" and ignorance about money likewise make you not rich!

the fear

It's the fear of not having enough money for paying bills, taxes, daily expenses, etc. that makes most of people working hard from day to day. The same fear makes them stressed all nights (yet try) waking up early to earn few bucks everyday. Some realize that hard and boring work, but keep working because of the same fear - the fear of not having enough money!! That old fear continue to scare them, make them stick to their work, hoping (in vain) that money will calm their fears. But it doesn't! "Fear has them in this trap of working, earning money, working, earning money, again hoping the fear will go away. But everyday they get up, that old fear wakes up with them..." (Robert Kiyosaki) A vicious circle continues without ends. Their fears make money be running, controlling their lives. Thus if you continue to be afraid of money, you would become a slave to money.

... and greed

I tend to agree that "Greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right. Greed works!.. "(Gordon Gekko - Wall Street movie). But many people work it out in the wrong way. Instead of letting money work for them to achieve their greeds (dreams and ambitions), people work for money to satisfy their greeds. They desire money for the joy they think it can buy. Nonetheless, nothing money can buy lasts forever! In fact, the joy that money brings is often short-lived. As a result, they soon need more money for more joy, more pleasure, more comfort, more security. So they keep working, thinking money will satisfy their desires. But again it doesn't! Money won't make you rich nor satisfied. A friend of mine once asked me "what and when is enough?" And I have no answer to that difficult question. Nothing is definitely not enough. But everything may be still not enough.

Money, in short, will not solve our problems. And if you don't first handle that fear and greed about money, once you somehow get rich, you'll only be a high-paid slave of money - no more, no less! (Robert Kiyosaki) The examples keep coming around. I know a friend who keep working hard even though he has plenty. Additionally and amazingly, there are many so-called "rich people" actually living fearful lives. They did think that money could eliminate the fear of not having money, of being poor. Now they're, albeit rich, terrified of losing it - losing their money, their cars, their houses, their luxuries.. Some are even more afraid and scared now than when they were poor, although they look rich and have plenty of money.

Basically Ignorance causes Fear. But in many cases, the reverse also holds true. It's the 'ancient fear' that makes many so-called "highly educated people" fall into the trap of "money emotion" that they may never escape!

Conclusion

You may now have a lot of money. You may now have very little. But the fact is that money itself won't make you rich. What you do with your money will make you rich or poor. Know how to do with your money actually determine how hard it works for you. With a strong financial literacy, a little bit of money can work very hard for you. Otherwise, you have to work for it (because it's very important!). Once you work for it, it's very hard for you to stop working (for money)!! Do remember, "the rich never work for money!" (Robert Kiyosaki) Sunday Adelaja in his same-title-book also confirms that: "It is time for people everywhere to understand that money will not make us rich, and it will not make us happy. True prosperity will come when we know the laws of money and learn how to abide by them - You can control your money without letting it control you"...
Hopefully, after reading the article, you would say "I've big dreams and I'm chasing them" (NOT "I've lots of desires and I'm chasing money!") at the very least.

Heath and Happiness are the keys to true success n prosperity

We've tried to give a better name for "rich". How about prosperity? What's true prosperity? Do prosperity simply mean rich? Well, as someone has said- and I tend to 100% agree that if you wanna be truly prosperous, you must be:

1) Healthy
2) Happy
3) Wealthy

Two out of three are not bad (for many people, one is even enough!!). But true prosperity, I believe, takes all three!

Nói về đôi mắt đẹp của mùa Thu, chắc hẳn chúng ta sẽ nhớ đến câu trong truyện Kiều khi Nguyễn Du tả sắc đẹp của Thúy Kiều: "Kiều càng sắc sảo mặn mà, so bề tài sắc lại là phần hơn" … chắc chắn là nhờ đến đôi mắt mùa thu của Kiều:

Làn thu thuỷ, nét xuân sơn

Hoa ghen thua thắm, liễu hờn kém xanh

"Thu thủy" nghĩa là con mắt long lanh trong trẻo như dòng nước mùa thu. "Xuân sơn" là núi mùa xuân xanh thắm, ví với lông mày người con gái đẹp. Ngoài ra còn có từ "thu ba" tức là sóng mùa thu, mắt con gái lấp lánh trong sáng như sóng mùa thu .. mà ta thấy trong đoạn thơ:

Áng đào kiểm đâm bông não chúng,

Khoé thu ba rợn sóng khuynh thành,

Bóng gương lấp loáng trong mành,

Thử đọc lại đoạn văn của Thanh Tâm Tài Nhân (Kim Vân Kiều truyện) –hồi 17- diễn tả mẫu đối thoại giữa Từ Hải và Thúy Kiều :

Minh Sơn (Từ Hải) hỏi : "Ta nghe nàng tới chốn này đã một năm qua mà chưa một ai lọt vào con mắt, điều đó có thực tế không ?"

Thúy Kiều đáp: "Người ta đồn đại quá lời, chứ thiếp tôi đây chẳng qua cũng phải chọn người mà kết giao, nhận xét phẩm hạnh mà đối đãi, cho nên chẳng dám vội đem gan óc gửi vào những đám tục trần ......................

Minh Sơn mỉm cười mà rằng: "Khen nàng quả có con mắt tinh đời, anh hùng đoán giữa trần ai mà không nhầm lẫn"

Nàng rằng : "Đôi con ngươi của thiếp tức là cặp mắt để nhìn anh hùng, có đâu lại nhầm lẫn được ?"

Minh Sơn rằng : "Tốt lắm! Tốt lắm! Nếu vậy thì ta với nàng kể từ hôm nay đã gặp tri kỷ rồi đó " .

Từ Hải không khinh khi và trách móc Kiều bán thân ở chốn lầu xanh, mà còn đem tất cả tấm lòng thành thật, "tâm phúc tương cờ" (lòng dạ hẹn nhau) mà đối xử với Kiều rất chân tình tử tế . Người được nàng đem "mắt xanh – tinh đời" để ý phải xứng đáng là kẻ anh hùng quân tử. Đúng là đôi mắt tri âm tri kỷ của "trai anh hùng gái thuyền quyên" ..

Trong đôi mắt thân thương và trìu mến đã chứa đựng tất cả những hình tượng tự nhiên trong sáng, tình cảm thiết tha va trân quí nhất của con người : tình yêu nam nữ, tình yêu tổ quốc, tình gia đình, tình thiên nhiên …

Mắt trong thi ca có nhiều màu sắc diệu vợi … mà phải kể đến đầu tiên là mắt xanh .

Trong Truyện Kiều, Từ Hải biết tiếng Thuý Kiều là người tài sắc, chàng đến tìm Kiều ở thanh lâu và hỏi nàng:

"Bấy lâu nghe tiếng má đào

Mắt xanh chẳng để ai vào có không ?

Một đời được mấy anh hùng

Bỏ khi cá chậu chim lồng mà chơi!"

Mắt xanh bắt nguồn từ chữ "thanh nhãn", tức tròng mắt màu xanh đen, còn chung quanh là màu trắng. Có một truyền thuyết kể rằng : "Nguyễn Tịch sống đời nhà Tấn, là một trong bảy người hiền ở Trúc Lâm. Ông có nhiều tài năng thơ, đàn, hát đều giỏi. Tương truyền ông uống rượu có khi say liền sáu mươi ngày. Ông cho cuộc đời là đáng chán, công danh sự nghiệp là phù vân. Có những đêm trường quạnh quẽ với bình rượu bên người, thao thức năm canh không ngủ, ông đã tự hỏi: "bồi hồi hà sở kiến, ưu tư độc thương tâm" (bồi hồi thấy gì đây, lo lắng thêm đau lòng) . Có khi ông đánh xe đi chơi cùng trời cuối đất, rồi trở về, khóc lóc thảm thiết. Ông thường ước mơ một xã hội không kẻ thống trị, không có người giàu, người nghèo và mọi người được tự do, không bị trói buộc. what've U learned?

It's toward the end of my third course. So there would be some questions asked:

1. What did they teach you?

Basically,

- Operating system (OS): Kernel, Distributed systems, Concurrent transactions, Deadlock, ACID, some applicable (yet not practical for me) OS algorithms and much more (bullshit topics)

-Data management n handling (DMnH): basic data strutures and (search n sorting) algorithms

- Entrepreneurship: Entrepreuneur n Intrapreneur "myths", Creativity, Innovation, 4Ps, Business plan, Environment assessment, legal structures n issues and some small (interesting) topics

- Software engineering (SE): honestly, I didn't notice what they taught exactly (just recognized the slide's always overwhelming by words :)) though, on the other hand, I've learned "something" in the lecture-times. Perhaps, there were some topics such as ... pseudocode !?, refactoring and SW constructions ('cause they occured in the exam) LOL

2. What have you learned?

Well,

OS:

- "(Microsoft) Windows is extremely fast after a fresh install. If you want to make it stay that way: – don’t use it!!" (use Linux instead!!!)

- Know how to justify a doc in M.Office. haha

DMnH:

- How to come home in the shortest way after getting lost...

- Don't put your loves into a stack!

- oh, I haven't learned so much in my dear subj :(

Entrepreneurship:

-"Life is not fair, get used to it!" (though I believe life itself is absolutely fair!)

- If I copy information from one source (without credits), it's called "Plagiarism". But if I copy from multiple sources, it's called "Research"!?

- "Talk is cheap!!" (yah, almost all ppl can talk the talk)

SE:

- How time is wasted and how long it is!!

-"There is always one more imbecile (as well as genius) than you counted on".

- How stupid I was and I am!

3. What did you do?

- Evaluated some kind of input.

- Read, Copied and pasted; Read, copied and ... :D

- Wrote my most professional journal and many "useful" articles :)

- "Tricked n Cheated" !?

4. What have you achieved?

Fortunately, a lot!:D But most of them are intangible. So hard to tell!

5. What do you regret?

- Absent all deadlock lessons

- Absent only few days

- Spent too much time out-of-interest!!

- Didn't do any/many useful things (in different areas)

6. Was it worth it?

My heart says YES, but my head says NO. lol

One of the many predictions about the future of English is that the language as we know will be spoken only by a minority of English speakers. Indeed, it is predicted that by 2020 only 15 percent of English speakers will be natives. The Standard English would be diverse as many other Englishes are being formed all the time. Singlish in Singapore is the epitome.

During 146 years (1819–1965) under British colonial rule, the Standard English in Singapore had always been British English. However, no sooner had Singapore declared independence in 1965 than English in Singapore began to take a life of its own, leading to the development of modern day Singapore Standard English. Singapore Standard English began to take root and the so-called “Singlish” began to evolve among the working classes who learned English without formal schooling. As Creolization has occurred, Singlish is nowadays a fully formed, stabilized, and independent English-based Creole language. Some scholars believe that Singlish indicates the way wherein future Englishes will develop.

To illustrate the point, in terms of vocabulary, some words obviously come from English, for example, blur (confuse). But others may come from Malay and Hokkien. Makan, meaning “to eat”, and Nia, meaning “only” are exemplary words from Malay and Hokkien respectively. Some of these words now become an integral part of Singapore Standard English. In terms of grammar, subject – verb agreement and tenses are matters of choice, and what is more, “to be” can be optional. The phrase "I not so old lah, I 18 nia." exemplifies the point. Some of the so-called “sophisticated” grammars such as word inversion and question tag are also omitted in colloquial language. There is a little wonder that such phrases like “You’re from where?” and “She love him, is it?” become more and more ubiquitous. In this case, “Is it” implies that speakers are simply confirming something they have already inferred. The more English spreads, the more it diversifies, the more it could tend toward fragmentation. Just as Latin, which once ruled over a great linguistic empire, does split into French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian and Catalan, so may the future of English be not as a single language but as a parent of a family of languages. There would be not only Singlish but also Chinglish, Hinglish or Spanglish.

Some researchers believe that the future of English will be shaped by persons who speak English as a second language – those who vastly outnumbers the native speakers. It is striking that whereas the standard English talk about something or discuss something, almost foreign English speakers discuss about something. Perhaps even words considered mispronounced or misspelling would take their place in the Oxford English Dictionary (OED). In Korea,Taiwan and elsewhere, for instance, a product is a produk. In Singapore and Australia, purchase is pronounced as “pɜːˈtʃeis”. Likewise, the complicated English tag system, do you? don’t you? have you? haven’t you? – will, in all likelihood, be simplified. It is supposed that is it or nesspa ( form the French n’est ce pas or isn’t it) could supplant all of them.

Nowadays, the advent of online and mobile communication will only serve to speed up the process of diverging English. Text English, for instance, has emerged as the more comprehensible English for its users and therefore being influential on the future of the language. 'I love you ' now becomes more prevalently the text, i luv u; 'going to', gonna and so forth. Here comes a word recently accepted by the OED, tweet (or twitter) - a message sent using the Twitter social networking service. Another new word is google, meaning to find information about something or somebody using the search engine Google. It may be generalized as “to search for information on the web, particularly by using the Google search engine; to search the web for information related to a new or potential girlfriend or boyfriend”!? These following words may also be embraced in the OED in the near future.

One of the the greatest if not arguably in the top 10 military commanders of all time, Gen. Giap is prominent with his significant contribution to the Vietnam War. Let's take a look at one of the interesting articles about him as regards his 100th birthday (25/08 /1911 - 25/08/2010)

"As a master of modern guerrilla warfare, Vo Nguyen Giap achieved the independence and unification of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam despite the efforts of the Japanese, the French, the Americans and his own countrymen. Giap's military operations remain influential in developing nations as methods and models for combating far more powerful opponents.

Many "facts" about Giap's life, especially his early years, are clouded in shadows, myths, and deliberate fabrications. Most reliable sources fix his birth date as sometime in 1912 in Quang Binh Province in the then French Indochina area known as Annam. Although Giap later claimed to be from a peasant family, apparently his father was actually a low-ranking mandarin scholar. Giap studied at both Hue and Hanoi before becoming a history teacher. There is also evidence that Giap briefly studied to be a lawyer, but there is no substantiation so the claims that he earned doctorates in political science and law.

During most of the 1930s, Giap remained a schoolteacher while actively participating in various revolutionary movements. He joined the Communist Party in 1934 and assisted in founding the Democratic Front two years later. All the while, Giap was a dedicated reader of military history and philosophy, revering Napoleon I and Sun Tzu.

When France outlawed communism in 1939, Giap fled to China, where he studied guerrilla warfare under Mao Zedong with fellow Vietnamese Ho Chi Minh. In 1941, Giap joined Ho and other Nationalists to form the Vietminh Front and in 1944 returned to Vietnam to resist the Japanese and Vichy French occupation. When Japan surrendered to the Allies in 1945, Giap became minister of defense and army commander in chief under Ho, who took advantage of the situation to seize the Hanoi government. But Giap and Ho had to flee when the French colonial officials returned and continued their Vietminh guerilla war in the jungle. Giap's zeal for independence may also have come from his hatred of the French, who had imprisoned and/or executed his first wife, his child, his father, two sisters, and other family members.

During the next eight years, Giap developed the strategy that would eventually defeat the French and later the Americans and South Vietnamese. Giap, with Ho's support, formed a three-phase plan for gaining independence. In Phase I, Giap's forces would conduct guerrilla and terrorist operations to control as much of the population as possible. In Phase II, guerrilla forces would consolidate into regular units to attack isolated government outposts. In the climactic Phase III, large units would form to establish full military control over an area, allowing and encouraging the civilian population to rise up in support of the revolution.

For the rest of his military career Giap would be consistently successful in conducting Phases I and II of his strategy but would succeed only once in executing Phase III. Against the French, Giap and his Vietminh triumphed in small-scale operations. As long as they did not allow the French to engage them in a set-piece battle, the Vietminh prevailed. In 1950 Giap overzealously tried to implement Phase III and conduct conventional warfare against the French in the Red River Valley, near Hanoi. When the French decisively defeated him, Giap again withdrew to the jungles and mountains, reverting back to Phase I and II operations.

After the loss in the Red River Valley, Giap adopted the philosophy that the Communist forces could afford to lose longer than the French, and later the Americans and South Vietnamese, could afford to win. Giap was able to convince his troops that they might have to fight and sustain heavy casualties for two or more decades to achieve victory.

For three years the French attempted to lure Giap into another major battle. In November 1953 they finally presented a target that even the patient Giap could not refuse when they established a series of outposts in the Dien Binh Phu Valley, two hundred miles west of Hanoi. Believing that the surrounding mountains protected their remote defensive bases - so isolated the only way to resupply was by air - the French hoped to tempt Giap into massing his forces for a showdown on the valley floor.

The French got their decisive battle, but not the way they planned. Giap proved his brilliance as a logistician when he had his troops disassemble artillery pieces and antiair weapons, mostly supplied by China and the Soviet Union, and packed them over the mountains onto the high ground overlooking the French garrison. Thousands of men with no more than bicycles for transportation delivered the tons of supplies and munitions necessary for a long siege.

Giap concentrated seventy thousand to eight thousand soldiers, along with two hundred heavy guns, against the French garrison, which totaled fifteen thousand men. Since weather and Vietminh gunners prevented all but a few deliveries of resupplies, the French retreated to the interior posts, while the Vietminh advanced through tunnels and trenches and under support of superior artillery. On May 7, 1954, the French surrendered. Of the original force, five thousand were dead. Of the ten thousand who surrendered, half were wounded. Estimates of Communist casualties exceeded twenty-five thousand, but Giap had won his Phase III battle. In leaving Indochina, the French negotiated a partition that separated the Communist North from the democratic South.

In 1959 Giap and the North Vietnamese began supporting Communist guerrillas in the south known as Vietcong. Giap continued his three phases of warfare, remaining reasonable successful with I and II in fighting the superior arms and numbers of the South Vietnamese and their American allies. As long as he remained patient, Giap fared well. In 1965, however, he challenged the first American combat divisions with North Vietnamese divisions across the border into neighboring sanctuaries.

Giap again attempted Phase III in the Tet Offensive of 1968 and in the Dien Bien Phu-like siege of Khe Sanh. In less than six weeks the Americans and the South Vietnamese virtually annihilated the Vietcong and seriously depleted the North Vietnamese. Reverting back to the first two phases, Giap and the North Vietnamese eroded American support for involvement in the war until the United States withdrew most of its troops. In 1972 Giap again revived Phase III in the Easter Offensive. South Vietnamese troops, supported by American air power, once again shredded the Communist offensive. The Losses were so great that the Communists removed Giap from command and returned him to Hanoi as minister of defense. When the Communists finally defeated South Vietnam and reunited the country into the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1975, the tactics were Giap's, but he was not in command.

Giap, who never trained as a military leader, nonetheless proved himself as a master at accomplishing victory against tremendous odds. His tactics were simple, and he allowed his subordinate commanders much latitude. In the end, his willingness to fight as long as necessary and sustain as many casualties as required gained him victory and unification of his country. Within Vietnam today he is a "national treasure," while around the world he is the master of guerrilla warfare. Giap's career and successes continue to have a significant impact on military and political decisions, particularly in the United States. The United States compares every military deployment to its possibilities of becoming "another Vietnam.""

Question: Who is the favorite for this year's EPL crown - Chelsea, Manchester United or other names?
the naked: At first sight, ELP season this year seems to be highly competitive with careful preparations of Tottenham, Everton and especially Man City with a lot of big deals. There are, of course, the likes of Arsenal or Liverpool. Having said that, I believe this year's race would be between only Chelsea and United. But then it is tough to point out the one to be the winner, actually.
Question: Can you give deeper analyses?
the naked: Man City would be one of the title's favorites in 2 or 3 years' time. They need time in addition to money to succeed. I think they would struggle for a position in top 4 this season. And they will get it, I believe. In contrast, I would not surprise if Liverpool and Arsenal couldn't even get the last place in top 4, though it seems unlikely. Both of them look very vulnerable now. Coming back the title, it is intriguing yet hard to say about Chelsea and United. However, I think this may be the last (after 5 continual years in ) title competition of Chelsea in respect to their players - savvy but "nearly washed up" veterans without qualified lads inheriting. United, on the other hand, with depth of their current team, I believe, are able to compete for the title in the next 5 years. Yah, but as I said, we can ,yet again, see an overwhelming Chelsea this season.
Question: Who would be the superstars of the season?

the naked: Well, without doubt, there must be Drogba, Lampark - who never shine in national team, there. However, I suspect about Rooney's and Gerrard's form, though it is always nice to see them shining. Then I expect more from Berbatov this season - It is the time for him as I can't see any better chance coming. Contrary to the fans' expectations, I will not be disappointed with neither Balloteli nor Hernandez in any aspects in case they fail to prove themselves this season. These guys are very talented and in prospect of success. In addition to these stars, Torres, Tevez and Defoe would be the nominees for the top scorer...

The first week of the new term, prior to that Sunday, honestly I felt so strong both mentally and physically that I believed I could do anything. 'It is the first step that counts'. Yes, I was ready to new challenges and really self worth. Everything, in short, went smoothly!

However, everything, accidentally or deliberately, went wrong after that Sunday. I was suddenly vulnerable in a surprising way, both mentally and physically. That Sunday may be just a coincidence. Definitely it is not to blame, because I sure, pretty sure, that I have had nothing to do, to think, to ponder or whatever much about that (what happened in that Sunday). Anyway, I must admit that I have been feeling completely exhausted due to the World Cup. I did cheer "Oh my god, World Cup eventually finish!" after the final. I tried lying awake a bit longer to "enjoy" the last moments of the second biggest sporting event in the world as I no longer "have to" watch it at a crazy time - 2h30 am. I say "I have to" because I supposed myself that no matter what happened to my favorite teams, no matter how many many I had watched or missed, I would watch the last three most important matches. In fact, I endeavored doing it and now still suffer.
Anyway, World Cup has gone, and time has gone too. Only one week passed, but I know I lost many things. Sometimes I feel like I am chasing my shadows. Everything seems to come to a standstill. Empty and hopeless. Though I know it is just feelings that sometimes 'inevitably' occur in life, I must not let it happen that frequently and continuously. Change to survive, to encapsulate! It is a MUST!

with STUDENTS taking UEE in the WORLD CUP periods
Between passion (World Cup matches, favorite teams) and study (a vital exam), what would you choose? Well, generally we would choose both, but it is not the case. There must be a smart trade-off!

FACTs
With the current studying structure in Vietnam, there are two big exams, that is High School Exam at grade 9 and the most important one - University Entrance Exam (UEE) at grade 12. In respect to the World Cup and UEFA Euro - the two biggest football competitions in the world, happenning once in every four years, it is expected that all student - football fans will experience the dilemma once (and only once) in their student lives!!

To be honest, it is a bit unlucky to take the exams, particularly UEE, during World Cup period. For me, I am so "lucky" that I do not have to take the UEE during World Cup period, but I did experience the quandary at grade 9. I still remember that my mother was crying when I watched my dear Italy in the last World Cup at the night before the exam. What is more, my results lamentably were not as expected although it is never to blame.

SOLUTIONs?
Anyway, it must be conceded that World Cup somewhat affects students' spirit, preparations and therfore results of the two biggest exams. The fact that the number of student - football fans, whether male or female, is definitely not small if not huge, give us a big question, is there any solution, any smart trade-off between the two? With the senior experience, I however have no advice to the students. It is very difficult to give a 'right advice' in the case. Instead, I would leave it up to the students - they are the only one who knows their actual strengths, weaknesses and how to deal with it. Do enjoy the World Cup, but please also remember to fulfill your exams and never let your parents worried. For the parents, why don't you let your sons choose and decide by themselves because at this age, they are no longer the kids. Had you better apply the so-called "Freedom in Discipline"!? Also, please never put too much pleasure and expectations on your sons! They are too young to fail!

MOST IMPORTANTLY,
Exam is nothing but a "real challenge". And its result is just a tangible part of a very intangible thing called Education.

Trong một cuộc thăm dò trên mạng dành cho các bạn gái với đề tài “Trong bốn thầy trò Đường Tăng, bạn muốn… lấy ai làm chồng nhất?”. Tuy mẫu người như Trư Bát Giới hơi cục mịch, nhưng anh ta biết thương hoa tiếc ngọc, chìu chuộng phụ nữ, không vì sự nghiệp mà bỏ quên gia đình.

Trư Bát Giới chung tình

Trư Bát Giời có nhiều mặt tốt, nhưng cũng có hai điểm khiến lão Trư không được lòng các cô gái là: đầu tiên tướng mạo của lão quá khó coi, làm cho người khác phải sợ; thứ hai là tài “ tán gái” còn yếu kém, lúc nào cũng trực tiếp tấn công, đi thẳng vào vấn đề, không biết tế nhị, lãng mạn, khiến cho các cô gái hoảng sợ bỏ chạy. Trư Bát Giới là một người luôn đặt lợi ích của mình và gia đình lên hàng đầu, lão sẵn sàng làm mọi việc nội trợ: nấu cơm, giặt giũ sau khi đi làm ruộng về, nhưng nếu bảo lão giúp việc cho hàng xóm, láng giềng thì xin miễn. Trong thời đại hiện nay, muốn tìm một người đàn ông sau khi đi làm về, còn biết giúp vợ làm việc nội trợ như Trư Bát Giới đâu phải dễ gặp.

Trư Bát Giới biết lo xa

Đàn ông thành đạt thường dễ sinh tật, tiêu tiền phung phí, đàn đúm bạn bè, nhưng Trư Bát Giới thì ngoại lệ. Tuy biết phép thuật, có thể hô biến ra vàng bạc châu báu, nhưng trên đường đi thỉnh kinh, mỗi khi đặt chân đến một vương quốc, lão Trư không quên kiếm chút tiền cho bản thân để phòng tránh trường hợp thỉnh kinh thất bại, có thể trở về nhà họ Cao, lận lưng chút vốn để mưu sinh, lo cho vợ. Lấy được người chồng biết lo xa tính trước như vậy, không cần phải lo là không có cơm ăn.
Có thể nói, Trư Bát Giới là mẫu người đàn ông có nhiều ưu điểm, điển hình là có đến 70% phụ nữ nhìn thấy thế mạnh của anh ta. Đây được xem là một khám phá thú vị mà trước giờ ít người để ý đến.

Italy: Behind the early exit!

Lippi ended his second reign as a Italy coach with an embarrassing defeat against Slovakia witnessing the current champions eliminated surprisingly in the first round. But would the failure be that surprising as it seemed to be? Is Lippi the only one to blame? And most of all, will Italy's future be as dreadful as the failure?

FAILURE: It’s not that surprised

It is the norm that a coach will shoulder full blame for a team’s failure. Lippi will (and must) do it, and a brand new cycle will soon start as Cesare Prandelli supplants him. But hold on! Before looking forward to a better future, let’s take an overall look at what has happened with Italy under the Lippi’s second reign.

After the failure at Euro 2008, Marcello Lippi yet again took charge of Azzurri with the mission of helping Italy qualify and get results at the World Cup in South Africa. Yah, he did it half! The first mission accomplished as Italy easily won the UEFA qualifying group 8 with seven wins and no lose. What a smooth running! Perhaps the ex-Juventus boss wanted to “create history” by repeating the achievements of coach Vittorio Pozzo who won back-to-back World Cups in the 1930s when he had agreed to return to the Azzurri. And it was the time for him to fulfill it. He had nearly a year to prepare for the second biggest sport competition in the world.

However, contrary to popular speculations, he came to a very surprising squad selection – omitting Totti, Cassano, Miccoli and Balotelli, while keeping washed up veterans such as Gatusso or Canavaro. Many may (and actually did) accuse Lippi of stubborn and selfishness. Yep, there is no doubt that Italy would be stronger with the likes of Cassano or Miccoli, but yet again it must be conceded that these omissions were not as shocking as Zanetti’s, Cambiasso’s or Ronaldinho’s. Moreover, no one could guarantee that the presence of Cassano or Miccoli could help Italy avoid being eliminated that early. Obviously, with the experience of Iaquinta and Gilardino, who were the champions four years ago, and 29-goal Serie A top scorer Di Natale, Lippi had a good excuse for omitting Cassano and Miccoli or refusing to re-call Totti in the last minutes (which, if happened, would have been unfair with other players who participated and helped Italy qualify for the World Cup as Nesta admitted). Every coach has their own philosophy, Lippi does too. I totally agree with him that experience is the most important factor in the competition wherein players only have to play at most SEVEN matches! (Look at Robert Green versus David James!) Most importantly, it was, in my opinion, not Lippi’s fault but rather Canavaro’s or Gatusso’s as they should retire from international football after 2006 tremendous success like Totti and Nesta did. It is hard (for Lippi) to omit one’s (his) heroes (as he “had to” do it with Grosso), isn’t it?

Lippi had also tried to combine the experience and the youth - well, made the youth compensate for the elder, to be precise, but failed! Why? Here comes the answer:

Most of all, we must confess that there is actually no world-class player in the current Italian generation generally, and particularly in this team! Nesta refused to return; Pirlo was injured and already passed his prime; there was neither Totti nor the likes of him; the youngsters like Marchisio, Criscito caused disappointing; Maggio is same age but not the quality as Grosso four-year ago; Cassano and Miccoli are, albeit good, definitely not world-class yet; Canavaro is really a shame – he (is actually the one that "contributed" to and) stands for Italy’s embarrassing failure as he did for Italy’s tremendous success four-year ago!

No –thing new, no big player, yah, no wonder failure!

The embarrassing draw against New Zealand, who stands far away from Italy’s strength, quality and level, exemplifies the fact that it was not utterly Lippi’s but rather both Lippi’s and players’ fault, as Montolivo confessed, for the early exit! (Say, for example, if Brazil draws Thailand, whose fault is that?)

It is not the first time (and not the last time) I try to 'defend' a failed coach in the World Cup. (Perhaps I will do it again after the round of 16 match of England, lol, hopefully not!) Coaching career life seems relatively volatile and risky! Let’s see the ironic situation of another Italian coach legend, Fabio Capello: no sooner had he agreed to extend his contract than he would be at risk of being sacked if England will be eliminated “early”! Lippi will forever remain a legend for masterminding the 2006 World Cup success but Lippi now is much different from Lippi before the World Cup, and of course from Lippi of four-year ago. In respect to the lesson of another World Cup champion Scolari¹, should Lippi “step twice into the same river”?

¹Scolari’s reputation was greatly ruined after being sacked as a Chelsea manager in the early of 2009. Afterwards he 'wandered' at an Uzbekistan club and now returns to Brazil.

FUTURE: today we cry, tomorrow it's better world!

We see can see the light, albeit not too bright, in the future of Italy.

There were moments in the second half of Italy’s last and disappointing match in the World Cup when the performance kept up, to a certain extent, with the standard of the “real Italy”…

It probably comes from the players.

On the one hand, we bid farewell to Canavaro, Zambrotta, Gattuso as well as Totti, Grosso, Nesta and thank them - another golden generation, for their tremendous contributions. Futhermore, there would be no room for the likes of Di Natale, Marchetti, Maggio and perhaps, Gilardino, Iaquinta or Pepe in the brand new team under Prandelli’s reign.

On the other hand, some of the players in this damn team can actually become indispensable characters in the Prandelli’s strategy. Quagliarella is absolutely one of them after his amazing performance in the second half of the last match. The twenty seven-year old is already known for scoring spectacular goals form unconventional angles that often catch the goalkeeper by surprise. Yet again, he scored a stunning goal when executing a 25-yard chip to bring the score to 3-2 at 91’ in Slovenia match. In my sight, few players would do that particularly in the situation where Italy was losing 3-1. There would be a lot of things to talk about the character in the future. Buffon and Pirlo are still one of the best at their positions. Hopefully they can contribute more to the team owing to the fact that there is still nobody can supplant them. In the near future, it is hard if not possible for Italy to find new golden generation or even a few world-class players. Nonetheless, Italy can be a united team of qualified players instead of a team of several groups of world-class players.

Let’s imagine: Buffon, Chiellini, Pirlo, De Rossi, Cassano build the framework of the brand new Italy team; Miccoli, Giuseppe Rossi, Quagliarella, Montolivo, Aqualian, Cossu complement this framework while Giovinco, Ballotelli, Santon, ones of the world’s best prospects, are the choices. What a team! Theoretically, the future of Italy looks brighter than that of Portugal, France, England and even Germany (!?) in term of youngsters' prospects and team's quality. Now is Prandelli’s mission to transform the current mess into a champion team.

Nói chung tôi ước những gì mà người ta có bây giờ. Nhà cửa, xe cộ...Với tôi thế là đủ! Còn những cái cao sang hơn, những cái người ta "đua đòi", ước muốn thì tôi không bao giờ dám nghĩ tới, thậm chí chỉ là trong giấc mơ. Trở thành một triệu phú ư? Không, không thể nào! Tôi thậm chí không dám đối diện với cái "giấc mơ khủng khiếp" đó. Tôi biết mình không quá giỏi, nhưng chắc chắn không phải là kẻ ngu; bạn bè, thầy cô lắm lúc còn khen ngợi tôi, nhưng tôi luôn "cuối đầu". Tôi "lo lắng" bước được vào cánh cửa đại học, nơi mà tôi trở thành niềm tự hào của cả dòng họ. Khi bên tả - cái nội tại của bản thân tôi "attack", bên hữu - của cái mong muốn khác khao, "defend" và ngược lại. Khát khao tôi như là chống chế cho "cái hoàn cảnh" tôi. Còn hoàn cảnh tôi là nguyên nhân cho mọi thất bại của tôi. Tôi vì thế khó chịu, lưỡng lự và chẳng bao giờ quyết tâm được cái gì. * World Cup opener: South Africa - Mexico( remark on 12-06)
Perhaps, this is the most fascinating Worl Cup opener I have ever watched! (partly because I don't even remember clearly the older ones lol). Despite the fact that there was neither world cup favourite nor the current champion (Italy), the yesterday opener was still well worth watching. In fact, SA had a decent performance while Mexico was, in my point of view, really impressive. However, SA still needs intensive work done in order to qualify the group stage, whereas Mexico actually lacked an inspiring player in the midfiled and a bit of luck.
In essense, SA strikers impressed me by their strengths and speeds whilst Vela and particularly Dos Santos were actually awesome. In my sight, they are the future of Mexcio as well as of the club they played. Sooner or later, believe me, they will be the top world class players! Blanco, huh, he looked like a sight actually. Yep, Mexico, however, desires a leader player with decent passing like him, of course not Blanco of present but Blanco of 12 or 8 years ago. Marquez can actually supplant the role, unfortunately he is a defender. Nonetheless, he was, once again, pretty good yesterday. He did score a crucial goal!
A first controversial decision as a perfectly good goal was disallowed seems to highlight the match. yah, Surprisingly, there are a few if not none at all posts memtioned the issue in famous online sport magazines today. Maybe it's not the time! lol LOL, sorry! The player was actually in offside position according to the rule of FIFA!

After the loss against Mexico, they are well on track to replicating their horror show from eight years ago..In fact, it is little wonder as France is not highly rated before the World Cup. Nonetheless, it is somewhat dissappointing because France is always a "big name" in every World Cup and they are currently the World Cup runner-up. Many reasons have been given for the failure, wherein Domenech has had a high profile. The fans can blame him for the failure, but it is not fair to deny all his successes as a Frech coach. I found it surprising as a famous former Vnmese football player, in a prevalent newspaper's article, slams the coach and claims that last World Cup silver is due to the contribution of the "golden generation", particularly Zidane. I laughed at that because such ridiculous comments came from the so-called "expert". The omission of Narsi and Bezenma is another blame for the failure. Yep, but honestly, Bezenma or Narsi' incidents were not as shocking as Ronaldinho's or Zanetti's! So let's be fair with Domenech, he deserves with what he has done! A coach, who led a team to the World Cup final and only lost in a penalty shoot-out, is definitely not a bad manager if not a fine tactician. The French failure can be seen, in different aspect, as an internal division (!?) beginning with the "unconvinced" captain armband giving to Evra, the "unconvinced" act of putting Henry on the bench or the recently insulted comments of Anelka, which axed him from the team. The team is no longer a French football team but a French theater with a traitor as captain Evra admitted.
It is not the first time the French have experienced such troubled times, especially with a squad that has several ethnic divisions and no small number of inflated egos. To conclude, together with the fact that this team is not as good as it used to be, if it is Domenech' s fault, it is because he doesn't know how to manage these troubles and is not able to make weak team become stronger.

~Favourites Analysis (19/06/10)
Spain: seems invincible yet actually not
If we have to name the "strongest team" in this World Cup, many of our answers will be Spain. Yep, in term of "quality players", Spain but not Brazil or any other team is the best. In fact, there are no more world-class players in other teams than Spain. Every position in the team is a star, and most of them are world-class: Goalkeeper, Calsilass; Denfender, Puyol, Ramos; Midfielder. Xavi, Iniesta, Cecs, Xabi; Attacker, Villa, Torress. Most importantly, the team has worked together for many years, and many of them are also teammates in their clubs. Their coordinations in teamwork, hence, are guaranteed. These 2 reasons make Spain seem invicible, thereby standing at the top favourite for the World Cup title.
... Nonetheless, they did suprisingly lose their 1st round. Now there is still no doubt about their group stage qualifying as their rivals are so weak. The match, however, proves the fact that Spain still lacks something/someone to be perfect.
Argentina: Time will tell!
Messi is simply the best! Everyone would agree with it if they watch his performances: stunning but not suprising as it is his standard. The only missing point is that he hasn't scored any goal. However, Maradona don't have to worry because he has the likes of Milito and Higuain. Two normal performances from the Madrid striker, yet he did score a hattrick. And that's adequate! Maradona has an incredible attackers in his hands, including Messi of himself; Tevez (of Rooney) and Higuain or Milito (of Van Nistelrooy or Inzaghi), then Di Maria, etc. Perhaps he lacks the likes of Ronaldo to form the strongest attack ever. Notwithstanding, the goalkeeper, defenders and somewhat midfielders are below the standard of Argentina in general and the attackers in particular. Romero, Demichelis, Jonas or Veron could not be in same team with Messi, Tevez! Unfortunately, Argentina lacks what it actually has got. Zanetti and Cambiasso omission by (unknown) un-technical reasons still remains regrettable for the fans. Otherwise, in my opinion, Argentina can be "a Spain" or even stronger. Nevertheless, let's still believe in Maradonna's decision as everything has gone right and wait...

Argentina - one of the best attack ever
Messi, Tevez, Higuain, and what's more, Milito, Aguero, Palermo forms Argentina's attack. Undoubtedly, Maradona has 5 of the best strikers in the world in his hands, the remaining is the one who saves his international coaching career. Even the likes of Aguero, particularly Milito have to be on the bench. What a waste, isn't it? Everyone of them has scored or at least contributed positively to the team. In fact, Argentina has shown off their frightenning attack many times in the World Cup. However, as I said, the other parts are relatively below the standard of its attack. Anyway, Argentina if they are champions, proves the strategy, Attack is the best form of defense!
Brazil - be a truly Brazil, but not that invincible
Brazil is always Brazil. Even in their decline, Brazil is still strong. This World Cup Brazil epitomises that!? However, will Dunga regret omitting the likes of Ronaldinho, Adriano? It's likely..
Holland - Robben, Sneijder, Persie, that's enough!
England - flatter to deceive
England was not as good as it seemed to be. Totally dissappointing! Never grow up.
Italy - never step twice into the same river!
It was a big lesson for Lippi and FIGC. However, last 10' of the their last match did tell something. Bright future ahead.
Germany - Totally contrary to England, always shine in their truly humble ways
Never flatter themselves. But in fact, many desire what they has done for the last 10 years.
France - Inevitable failures!
Remember: 12 years ago, they were the world champions. 10 years ago, they stood at the top of Europe. They are inevitable on the decline of their cycle. Media, please take a break...
Portugal - not a golden generation
They have a world class leader, C.Ronaldo. However, apart from him, Portugal does not have adequate supporting players. The sudden injury of Nani made things even worse.

Hai kì festival gần đây nhất, tôi đều xa Huế. Nếu như 2 năm trước, tôi như đứa trẻ "chạy trốn" khỏi sự yên bình đến "buồn bã" của mảnh đất kinh kì về xứ người với một mơ ước, khao khát; còn bây giờ, tôi đã là đứa con xa, mong ngóng về đất mẹ. Thực tại, tôi băng khoăn, day dứt với câu hỏi, mình sẽ ai? làm gì? và ở đâu? trong 2 năm tới! Thật lòng, tôi "nguyện được xa" thêm vài chục năm nữa, để cuối cùng được trọn vẹn với quê hương...
